In the Drivers' classification, Jorge Martín still leads the way ahead of Francesco Bagnaia. But the latter took advantage of a successful home meeting to reduce the gap. Before the start of hostilities in Assen, 18 points separated the two men to the advantage of the Spaniard.

On the French side, fabio quartararo was not idle during the month of June. The Niçois went to ride a few times on the side of Valencia in private testing with Yamaha. Johann Zarco didn't rest either, as he went to drive on the Suzuka circuit.
