The Márquez brothers are definitely not stopping at the start of the season! Just like in Thailand, Marc Márquez took pole position in Argentina ahead of his brother Alex. But where the Ducatis dominated the grid two weeks ago, it was Johann Zarco who put in the biggest performance of the day, finishing third on his Team LCR Honda.

Double world champion Francesco Bagnaia is relegated to the second row, where he will join Pedro Acosta and Fabio di Giannantonio. The best Yamaha is that of fabio quartararo, qualified in seventh position, ahead of Franco Morbidelli's Ducati and Marco Bezzecchi's Aprilia. Joan Mir qualified a second Honda in Q2, ahead of Brad Binder's KTM and Álex Rins' Yamaha.

After qualifying superbly in Thailand, Jack Miller had to settle for thirteenth place in Argentina, ahead of Fermín Aldeguer and Ai Ogura. The Japanese rider, however, remains the second best representative of the Aprilia camp, after his stunning debut in Buriram. Luca Marini, Raúl Fernández and Somkiat Chantra find themselves on the sixth row, following the withdrawal of Miguel Oliveira. Maverick Viñales and Enea Bastianini complete the grid with the two KTMs of the French Tech3 team, since Lorenzo Savadori also had to throw in the towel after dislocating his shoulder riding his Aprilia. Start at 19 p.m. for this second Grand Prix of the year!
