The consecutive finishes of Ducati riders in the top 3 this season allowed the Borgo Panigale brand to continue its impressive streak of 55 consecutive races with at least one rider on the podium.

At the end of all the Grands Prix contested during the 2023 season, as well as the 2022 season, the Bologna manufacturer had one of its representatives in the top 3 in front of the checkered flag. We actually have to go back to the end of the 2021 season and the British Grand Prix to see no Ducati rider on the podium.

At the time, the French, fabio quartararo won – with the fastest lap – on his Yamaha, ahead of the Suzuki of Álex Rins, and the Aprilia of Aleix Espargaró. The first machine from the trans firmalpine had not, however, crossed the finish line very far, since Jack Miller had finished just 149 thousandths behind Espargaró, in fourth position.

Since the meeting held on August 29, 2021, Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Enea Bastianini, Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, Luca Marini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Álex Márquez have each contributed to keeping this series going .

Arriving at Gresini Ducati in 2024, Marc Márquez has already been on the box four times with his new team in the main race. That's as much as during its entire 2021 campaign. Note that since its launch, at the start of the 2023 season, the Sprint has never had a top 3 without a Ducati rider.
