Audi announces a change in leadership within its Technical Development department. Rouven Mohr will assume the role of Chief Technical Officer and member of the Board of Management from March 1, 2026. He succeeds Geoffrey Bouquot, who has decided to pursue new professional opportunities outside the company.

Rouven Mohr has 18 years of experience within the Volkswagen Group. He previously leveraged his technical expertise and extensive development experience to lead complex transformation projects. Most recently, he served as Chief Technical Officer at Lamborghini, where he spearheaded the brand's hybrid strategy, the generational transition of its model range, and the LMDh program. Prior to that, he held senior positions in vehicle development, testing, and emissions at Audi and Lamborghini. His return to Audi reflects the company's commitment to achieving technological excellence through rigorous implementation and a strong product focus.

« Rouven Mohr joins us as a renowned technology expert, combining extensive know-how with a clear vision of long-term value creation for Audi. On behalf of the Supervisory Board, I would like to warmly thank Geoffrey Bouquot for his significant and valuable contribution to Audi's technological transformation. " said Manfred Döss, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Audi AG.

« Technical development is at the heart of the Audi brand. Geoffrey Bouquot provided essential impetus for strategic and technological modernization – and we thank him for that. Rouven Mohr is an excellent technical leader with extensive experience at Audi and expertise from Lamborghini. His appointment will inject new momentum into innovation, sporty elegance, and refinement – in other words, a decidedly future-oriented approach. We look forward to working with him. " said Jörg Schlagbauer, chairman of the works council of Audi AG.

« Rouven Mohr combines technical excellence, product acumen, and proven execution skills. He will play a central role in accelerating our innovation. I would also like to sincerely thank Geoffrey for his leadership and significant contribution to Audi's technological evolution, and wish him every success in his future career. " said Gernot Döllner, CEO of Audi.

Rouven Mohr will take over as head of technical development at Audi from March 1, 2026. He will continue to serve as technical director at LamAudiborghini until a decision is made regarding his successor.
