Every year, in the heart of spring, the Val de Vienne circuit comes alive with the sound of hundreds of racing cars. Five hundred Classic Ferrari for saleTo be perfectly precise, this gathering was born from the vision of Jean-Pierre Doury and his team of volunteers in 1995. The association is a non-profit organization (under the French law of 1901) called Sport & Collection. has since obtained charitable status.

Starting with 250 GTs, including a dozen Ferraris, the event quickly grew with the support of the Ferrari Club France and, after "100 Ferraris against cancer" In 1999, the event's subtitle finally reached "500 Ferraris against cancer" in 2009. More than 1,300 GTs were welcomed in 2024. Even though the heart of the event is Ferrari, with the arrival of part of the Richard Mille collection (F1, Endurance, GT), all the brands of classic and modern sports cars come together at Sport & Collection, from the ancestors of the 1900s to the latest hypercars, including the automobiles that made the golden age of 24 Hours of Le Mans and endurance races and Grand Prix cars and Formula 1In 2026, two manufacturers arrive with style.

Peugeot exhibition and Renault test drive

Renault will be present through a retrospective dedicated to the history of its competition programs, including a specific segment paying tribute to Jean Ragnotti, an emblematic figure of the discipline and inseparable from the brand's sporting history. The vehicles on display will participate in two highlights at the Val de Vienne circuit: the running of the Renault RS10 and Renault Alpine A442 B, scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 and 15:25, as well as a parade in tribute to Jean Ragnotti, organized Friday and Saturday at 18:55.

Almost all of the vehicles on display come from The Originals Renault – La Collection, with the exception of the Mégane Maxi and the Renault 21 Supertourisme, which belong to a private collector. Several historic drivers will be present throughout the event, including Rene Arnoux, Alain Serpaggi and Julien Saunier.

What's more, Peugeot plans an exhibition celebrating the centenary of its first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Almost all of the legendary vehicles will be there, from the 302 Darl'Mat entered in 1937 to the current Peugeot 9X8, via the CD Peugeot of 1966, the WM P88 holder of the speed record (405 km/h) or the Peugeot 905 of 1992 and 908 of 2009.

In 2025, Sport & Collection raised a total of €730,000 for medical research, bringing the association's total donations since its inception to over €7,3 million. Each year, a scientific advisory board selects the research projects and equipment to be directly funded.
