Discover the trailer for the film Ferrari, scheduled for release at the end of the year, by Michael Mann with Adam Driver and Penélope Cruz.

Classic Ferrari for sale will surely be the event film of the end of the year (release planned for Christmas) for all motorsport fans. A long-standing project by Michael Mann (director, among others, of Last of the Mohicans, Heat and Collateral, producer of the film Le Mans 66), the feature film is inspired by the book Enzo Ferrari - The Man and the Machine by Brock Yates, released in 1991. 

Here is the synopsis of the film: “We are in the summer of 1957. Behind the spectacle of Formula 1, ex-racer Enzo Ferrari is in crisis. Bankruptcy threatens the factory that he and his wife, Laura, built from scratch ten years earlier. Their unstable marriage was rocked by the loss of their son, Dino, a year earlier. Ferrari struggles to recognize his son Piero with Lina Lardi. Meanwhile, its drivers' passion for victory pushes them over the edge as they embark on the perilous 1-mile race across Italy, the Mille Miglia. »

Adam Driver (Marriage Story, BlacKkKlansman, Star Wars) played Enzo Ferrari, Penélope Cruz his wife Laura and Shailene Woodley (The Descendants, Divergent, The Fault in Our Stars) his mistress Lina Lardi. Patrick Dempsez (four participations in the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 2009 and 2015) is also in the casting.
