Starting eighth on the grid, Joshua Dürksen secured his first feature race victory this Sunday, December 7th, in Abu Dhabi. Benefiting from a race that saw two safety car periods, the Paraguayan delivered a solid performance, executing several key overtakes. Having opted to start on soft tires, he then switched to mediums after an early pit stop.
After a very good start, Joshua Dürksen – like Dino Beganovic – was already a threat from the very first laps. Marked by on-track battles across the board, the opening laps of this main race were anything but easy for the riders. Unfortunately for Victor Martins, competing in what would be the final stage of his career, F2The Frenchman was unable to reach the finish line. Caught in a collision with Alexander Dunne, which also caused Cian Shields to retire, the ART Grand Prix rider's performance contrasted sharply with his victory last week in Qatar.
Fornaroli and Lindblad honored in Abu Dhabi
While Roman Stanek and Dino Beganovic provided a thrilling spectacle for the fans in this main race, set against the backdrop of the battle for the team championship, Leonardo Fornaroli and Arvid Lindblad constantly swapped positions, having held first and second place respectively. Starting on medium tires, victory seemed out of reach unless a safety car was deployed at the opportune moment. Unfortunately for them, Sebastian Montoya's pit stop before the halfway point came too soon, preventing them from maximizing their strategy.

Instead, the two men launched attack after attack. Arvid Lindblad ultimately emerged victorious from this high-flying duel, while Leonardo Fornaroli was eventually overtaken by Jak Crawford after the pit stops. At the final tally, Invicta had thus managed to win everything once again. Roman Stanek's second place secured the team title for the British team, while Arvid Lindblad is poised to head off to the F1 with panache. For others, like Victor Martins in particular, the future is still uncertain. As for the winner, however, Johsua Dürksen has a date with the championship team in 2026, where he will team up with Rafael Câmara, champion of F3 In title.
