Despite braking very early in his maneuver, Laurens Van Hoepen's teammate crashed head-on into the barriers at Turn 1.

The second interruption was also linked to Trident, although Laurens Van Hoepen was in no way responsible for the collision. Having entered the corner on the outside as he exited the tunnel, the Dutchman saw Kush Maini cut in on the inside, attempting to maintain his position close to the corner. With the Trident driver's floor jammed on the kerbs, the session had to be briefly interrupted.

Finally, it should be noted that the championship leader, who has been the most consistent driver so far this season, will have to start from 7th place. Indeed, Gabriele Mini, who was still fast at the beginning of the session, was unable to match the improvements of his rivals and will be forced to overtake or rely on a stroke of luck to retain his lead.
