2025 Formula 3 champion Rafael Câmara will compete for Invicta Racing in Formula 2 next season.

Rafael Câmara promoted to Invicta in 2026

This Tuesday, Invicta Racing confirmed the promotion to Formula 2 Rafael Câmara in its ranks for the 2026 season. The 2025 champion of Formula 3 completes the team's line-up, which already includes Joshua Duerksen for next year. After an exceptional campaign in F3, during which he won four victories, five pole positions and several podiums, to secure the world title with a round to spare, Câmara will therefore logically move up to the next level.

“I am very proud to join Invicta Racing for my first season in Formula 2, confides the person concerned. Over the past few years, this team has become a favorite target for all drivers who want to race in F2 and has repeatedly demonstrated that it knows how to train young drivers.

Câmara reaches the second division with an impressive record in car, since he has won two titles in as many seasons recently. In addition to his triumph this year, the member of the Team Ferrari Driver Academy won the 2024 FRECA championship. It also finished third in the Middle Eastern equivalent that same year, as well as in 2023.

He will make his first laps with the team soon, during the post-season tests in Abu Dhabi at the end of this year. “It is a huge honor to follow in the footsteps of Gabriel Bortoleto and Leonardo Fornaroli as a Formula 3 championHe says.
