Prema Racing has confirmed that Sebastián Montoya will continue with the team in the FIA World Championship. Formula 2 in 2026. The 20-year-old Colombian-American driver is coming off a first season marked by three podium finishes.
Juan Pablo Montoya's son has been part of the Prema family since 2020, the year of his European debut. After a steady rise in Italian Formula 4, culminating in a fourth-place finish in the 2021 championship, he continued his career in Formula Regional. There, he notably won two races in the Middle East Championship and gained experience in FRECA.
FIA Formula 3 In 2023, Montoya played three seasons in the sport while making his debut in EnduranceHaving returned to Prema for the 2025 F2 season, he is currently 10th in the championship with one weekend remaining in Abu Dhabi.

The driver will begin his preparation for 2026 during the end-of-season collective tests organized on the Yas Marina circuit.
