We are heading towards a 100% transition rate Formula 2 for the drivers who carried Campos to the title of Formula 3 this season. After Nikola Tsolov, who will continue with Campos, and pending the expected promotion of Mari Boya, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak has been announced on the Formula 2 grid next season.

The Thai driver will wear the colors of ART GP in 2026, thus becoming the first driver confirmed by Sébastien Philippe's team. “I am very proud to finally announce that I will be joining the ART Grand Prix team for my first season in Formula 2, Inthraphuvasak rejoices. The team has proven itself over the years through its many successes, and I am therefore convinced that this is the ideal environment to take this next step. I am eager to begin this new chapter and work with the entire team before the start of the season.

“Tasanapol had a solid season in FIA F3, with three wins and some great performances, explains Sébastien Philippe, the team director of ART GP. He now has the opportunity to take the next step in Formula 2, and we look forward to seeing how he adapts to this new challenge.

Inthraphuvasak, who has three wins and a seventh-place finish in Formula 3, will continue his development at the next level with a team that has struggled since switching to the new Dallara cars at the start of 2024. The Bangkok native, who finished 16th in the Formula Regional World Cup in Macau last weekend, is the first driver announced by ART GP. Victor Martins, who has driven for the team since 2023, will leave Formula 2 at the end of the season. The 2022 F3 champion is in discussions with Alpine to join the WECbut is also exploring other options, including theIndyCar or the Super Formula.

The Japanese championship was won in 2023 by his current teammate, Ritomo Miyata. The Japanese driver is also expected to leave ART GP, with rumors linking him to Hitech, where he could team up with Colton Herta.
