Launched in his third and final season in Formula 2, the 23-year-old Frenchman is still driving for ART GP, but his car has changed color. Gone is the pink ofAlpine, place to the blue of Williams, which has taken into its academy a young man more determined than ever to reach Formula 1.

Sixth in the championship, 25 points off the top: how would you sum up your start to the season in one word?

Positive. Because I want to stay that way at the start of the season. We know where we are, we know what we're doing with the car. Every time we put it on the track, it works. We're either happy with it, or we know which direction to take it in. I feel very good behind the wheel and I'm managing to do well.
