The great operation of this Sprint Race was signed by Gabriel Bortoleto (Invicta Racing). Ninth on the starting grid and three positions behind his runner-up Isack Hadjar (Campos), the championship leader took advantage of the facts of the race and his pace to achieve a great comeback.
The Brazilian quickly passed his opponent for the title, sandwiched at the first corner by Kush Maini (Invicta) and Ritomo Miyata (Rodin Motorsport) dropping to 11th place. From then on, the future Sauber driver was able to run his own race, helped by his very good pace. Lap after lap, he got rid of his opponents such as Joshua Dürksen (AIX Racing), Kush Mani and Amaury Cordeel (Hitech GP) to point to 2nd place from the 6th lap of the race.

Behind, Isack Hadjar tried as best he could to get back up but the damage to his car and the traffic slowed him down in his efforts. Finally, he managed to take the checkered flag in his initial 6th place, just over 20 seconds behind his teammate and winner of the day Josep Maria Martí. Paul Aron (Hitech GP) completed the podium.
This result allows the Frenchman to limit the damage against Gabriel Bortoleto given his start to the race. The Brazilian will attack the Main Race this Sunday (10:25) with a 5,5 point lead over Isack Hadjar.
For his part, Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix), who had an excellent start, immediately lost everything. The Tricolore was hit by Ritomo Miyata at turn 6. Forced to return to the pits, he finished 20th and last classified. The Japanese driver was penalized 10 seconds for a final 12th place.
