  • An extremely close qualifying session in Barcelona with a top 3 separated by...only 6 thousandths! It was Paul Aron (Hitech) who took pole position in Spain with only 2 thousandths ahead of Jak Crawford. Franco Colapinto completes the top 3. This first pole of the season for the Estonian driver therefore earns him 2 points in the Drivers' standings.
  • For Isack Hadjar, on the other hand, it is a very bad operation: qualified only 11th, the Frenchman will start far from his rival in the championship, whether in the Sprint Race or in the Main Race. The leader of the sector Red Bull, visibly annoyed in his radio, complained about a bad preparation lap.
  • The other Frenchman on the grid Victor Martins entered the top 10 with the 9th time, the ART Grand Prix driver will therefore start the Sprint Race on the front row thanks to the reversed grid.
  • Shortly after the start of the session, Taylor Barnard (Aix Racing) incurred a red flag following an oversteer, prompting him to take a “spin” into turn 9. The Briton emerged unscathed but prematurely put end his session with a car damaged.
