La F2 also unveils its calendar for 2026. Like this year, fourteen rounds will be contested during this 10th season, starting, like the F1, via Melbourne on March 6-8. Before heading to the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir and then to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

The European campaign will kick off in Monaco at the beginning of June (5-7), before continuing with Barcelona (12-14). Austria, Great Britain, and Belgium will follow. After the Hungarian Grand Prix, on the weekend of July 24-26, it will be time for the summer break.

The second half of the season will resume at Monza, from September 4 to 6, 2026. Then the paddock will discover the Madrid circuit the following week (11-13), a major newcomer to this calendar, like F1. This Spanish meeting therefore replaces Imola, which is also disappearing from the F2 program. Finally, after Baku (September 25-27), the drivers will have a long two-month break before finishing the season with Qatar (November 27-29) and then Abu Dhabi, like F1.

“Racing on Formula 1 circuits and in front of the F1 paddock is absolutely essential. Next season, we are maintaining the calendar at 14 rounds in total, all F1 support events. As previously announced, we are adding a new circuit in Madrid, which should be exciting for our drivers and teams.”, said Bruno Michel, head of Formula 2, in a press release.
