Deprived of the championship lead after two nightmare weekends in Monza and Baku, the Frenchman still has his destiny in his own hands to be champion. The Parisian also spoke to us about his future and his feelings on seeing his F2 teammates seize their chance in Formula 1 one after the other.

Isack, you turned 20 on Saturday 28th September, and it seems that Helmut Marko and Christian Horner have given you a birthday present by naming you as the official reserve driver for both teams for the end of the season. Do you see this as a step closer to becoming a permanent driver in F1 ?

Either way, he'll be at worst a reserve in the cans and at best a teammate of Tsuhonda if Lawson manages to convince Red Bull Racing to replace TexMex.
