  • The French stood out during the qualifications of the F2 in Monaco this Friday where Victor Martins (ART Grand Prix) did not go far from pole position. In tough times since the start of the season, the protégé ofAlpine seems to be regaining color in the Principality. This Friday, the Ile-de-France driver dominated his qualifying group but ultimately missed pole position by 27 thousandths.
  • This fell into the hands of Richard Verschoor (Trident). Placed in Group 1, the Dutchman used his experience to place himself at the top of the timesheet with a lap in 1'21"283. Logic wanted Group 2 to improve its mark but Victor Martins failed with a time of 1'21"310. However, an encouraging result for him who has not yet taken off this year. A good omen for the rest of the weekend, hopefully.
  • A man in good form in F2 with his victories in the last two Main Races (Melbourne and Imola), Isack Hadjar also claimed pole position. After escaping the worst thanks to an incredible reflex to avoid Ritomo Miyata (Rodin Motorsport), idling in the tunnel, the Campos driver finished just over a tenth behind Richard Verschoor. Nothing to discourage him since he will start in 3rd position in the Main Race on Sunday (9:40 a.m.).
  • The member of the fold Red Bull carried out an excellent operation since the championship leader Zane Maloney (Rodin Motorsport) could not do better than 7th in his group. A result which relegates him to 14th place on the grid.
  • Taylor Barnard (AIX Racing), 10th after qualifying, inherits pole position for the Sprint Race (14:15 p.m.).
