After Ugo Ugochukwu (Prema) on Wednesday, it was Théophile Naël (Campos) who dominated the Barcelona track this Thursday in Formula 3. Second in the main race on this same track in this 2025 season with Van Amersfoort Racing, the Saint-Étienne driver showed his speed on Catalan soil. Capable of completing his reference time of 1:28398, the new driver of the Spanish team notably surpassed Tuuka Taponen (MP Motorsport) and Brad Benavides (AIX Racing).

Ugo Ugochukwu, the leader the day before, managed to finish seventh on this second day. It's worth noting that the American is two-tenths of a second behind the series leader, his teammate for the upcoming 2026 season. Ernesto Rivera, the Iberian team's third driver, is eighth.

As for the other French drivers on the grid, the day wasn't as joyful as it was for Théophile Naël. Taito Kato, who was present with ART Grand Prix despite not yet being confirmed with any Formula 3 team, finished 11th. Behind him, Prema driver Enzo Deligny was unable to move up from 20th position, while Alessandro Giusti, leader of the first day of testing at Jerez, unfortunately finished last.

A Van Amersfoort Racing driver for the past few weeks, Japanese driver Hiyu Yamakoshi completed the most laps. With 85 laps completed on Thursday, this highlights the fact that not all teams necessarily wanted to test the same things on this day divided into two sessions.

F3 drivers will now be expected on October 21 and 22 at the Imola circuit for the final round of the 2025 post-season sessions. After that, the grid should be able to clear up, while a few seats still remain vacant at this stage.
