At the end of his second season at the regional level, Enzo Deligny seems ready. Having secured five consecutive pole positions at the end of 2025, the driver, who raced for R-ace GP, greatly contributed to his team's victory in the team championship, although he was unable to challenge Freddie Slater's dominance in the drivers' championship.
In 2026, he will take the plunge. On the grid of Formula 3Enzo Deligny will face his rivals, including Matteo De Palo, Freddie Slater, Pedro Clerot, and fellow French drivers Alessandro Giusti and Théophile Naël. Currently racing with Prema alongside James Wharton and Louis Sharp, the French driver could ultimately join the Dutch team Van Amersfoort Racing. This is at least what Italia Racing is suggesting, just days before the start of preseason testing in Barcelona.

Indeed, although nothing is yet confirmed regarding Enzo Deligny, the departure of key figures such as René Rosin, Angelina Ertsou, and technical director Guillaume Capietto suggests that Prema is not in the most stable situation in its history. In addition to these departures, the financial difficulties faced by the team in the age groups it competes in do not bode well for its sporting performance.
In practical terms, if Enzo Deligny were to leave Prema for VAR, it would also seem that Jesse Carrasquedo, the Mexican driver who competed in Eurocup-3 last year, would be the one to leave the Dutch team. With the Formula 3 grid finally complete, there could be plenty of new surprises in the coming days.
