As a result, Tramnitz was given a 10-second time penalty and finished 18th. He lost valuable points to Nikola Tsolov in the battle for third place in the championship. With this penalty, Roman Bilinski (Rodin Motorsport) moved up to first place and secured his first victory in FIA Formula 3.
Elsewhere, Noel Leon (Prema) was penalized 10 seconds for hitting Brando Badoer and Charlie Wurz; he dropped from 8th to 19th place.
