Nicola Lacorte re-signed with DAMS Lucas Oil for 2026

DAMS Lucas Oil has officially confirmed the continuation of its collaboration with Nicola Lacorte for the 2026 FIA Formula 3 Championship season. The Italian driver, a member of theAlpine Academy will thus begin a second consecutive year within the Le Mans structure.

Having joined DAMS Lucas Oil in 2025, Nicola Lacorte gradually found his footing in a particularly competitive championship. Throughout the season, the young driver demonstrated unwavering commitment, a remarkable ability to adapt, and a level of professionalism praised by his team. Despite some inherent difficulties in learning the ropes, F3He has accumulated valuable experience on the circuits of Formula 1, often in demanding conditions, demonstrating real resilience.

Faced with very stiff competition, this first campaign primarily served to lay the groundwork for in-depth work. DAMS Lucas Oil and Lacorte thus built a structured development program, designed for the long term and in line with the championship's requirements.

The 2026 FIA Formula 3 season will consist of ten rounds. The season will kick off in Melbourne, Australia, from March 6 to 8, at the Albert Park circuit.
