Barcelona – Sprint: Boya takes advantage of the Trident clash to win
  • 100% Spanish victory during this Sprint Race of the F3. Under the Barcelona sun, it was Mari Boya in the colors of Campos who burst onto the screen this Saturday late in the morning.
  • In ambush thanks to his third position on the grid, the Catalan did not have to make any effort to take the lead of the race. He simply had to wait for the battle for first place between Trident drivers Santiago Ramos and Sami Meguetounif to turn into contact.
  • A bit too optimistic at the end of the start/finish straight, the Habs tried their luck braking but missed, putting their wheels in the grass. Losing control, he carried Santiago Ramos with him. A situation that suited Mari Boya’s business.

  • New leader, the Spaniard then mastered his subject, resisting the threats of Alex Dunne (MP Motorsport) in his mirrors. He was even lucky since he did not have to defend in the last laps, the Sprint Race having ended under Safety Car regime after the exit of Gabriele Mini (Prema) and Sabastian Montoya (Campos) at the start of the second sector.

  • Great operation for Campos since Oliver Goethe completed the podium in this Sprint. The German continues his good streak since he finished the 9 races of the season in the points, the only one to achieve such a feat.
  • Forced to retire, Gabriele Mini lost his lead in the championship. It's Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident) who recovers it for 2 small points (74 against 72).
