  • A surprise which is no longer really one given the level he has displayed in recent rounds. In Belgium, where it was above all a question of finding the best position on the track to be able to complete a clear and unhindered lap, Callum Voisin (Rodin Motorsport) showed himself to be the strongest in this game, winning his first pole position in Formula 3.
  • In the lead with a lap in 2'04"321 completed in the last 5 minutes, the Briton took advantage of the traffic in the final moments and the regrouping of the peloton at the bus stop chicane, like the Parisian Periph' at the rush hour, to maintain its position. Indeed, no driver really managed to clear a path to be able to launch for a final clean lap. This therefore suited Callum Voisin who beat Alex Dunne (MP Motorsport) and Leonardo Fornaroli (Trident) by a little more than a tenth. The latter is undoubtedly the big winner in the race for the title since he is the only one of the 4 contenders to have slipped into the Top 5 of the session.
  • Better yet because only Luke Browning (Hitech GP), currently third in the championship, finished in the Top 10 (7th) while Gabriele Mini (Prema) and Arvid Linblad (Prema) could not do better than 11th and 27th.
  • The only Frenchman entered in F3, Sami Meguetounif (Trident) can hope for a good result in the race thanks to his 8th place.
  • Replacement for Nikola Tsolov at ART Grand Prix, Tuukka Taponen is the best representative of the French team with the 13th fastest time, Laurens van Hoepen and Christian Mansell having finished 15th and 20th.
  • Twelfth under the checkerboard, Dino Beganovic (Prema) inherits pole position for the Sprint Race this Saturday (9:50 a.m.).
