Currently, eight of the ten teams on the 2026 grid Formula 3 have announced their entire driver lineup for the upcoming season. Only ART Grand Prix and DAMS still have seats available, forced to wait to see certain situations evolve before the start of the upcoming season. In this case, DAMS is clearly preparing to renew its entire tandem. To date, neither Nicola Lacorte, nor Matias Zagazeta, nor even Christian Ho have been announced for the next season.

Thai driver Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi thus received the first official announcement from the French team this Monday. Aged 19, the new Le Mans driver has just finished his 2025 season in 16th place in the FRECA European Championship, following the final at Monza. With six points finishes in twenty races spread over ten meetings, the Thai driver notably boasts a top 5 finish in Barcelona at the beginning of the autumn, thus securing his best result in the category to date.

Uh... Not a win, not a pole, not a podium. Dams used to be a great team that didn't mess around with its recruitment. Sorry, but here they prove that their vision of the sport has sunk pretty low. Like quite a few other teams, unfortunately. This Thai guy is as fast as Croesus, period...
