- Second victory of the season for Dino Beganovic, after his success in the main race in Melbourne last March. The Swede, who started on pole, had to work hard on the track to take the top step of the podium. Surprised when the lights went out by his teammate Gabriele Mini (started on the driest side of the track), the protégé of Ferrari regained control of the race on the 4th lap, on the post-safety car restart, passing the Italian under braking on Kemmel Straight. It was believed for a time that his passing all four wheels off the track at the top of the steep slope would earn him a penalty, but the race direction did not flinch.
- These ten points will do the greatest good for Beganovic, who grabs a few points in the title race. Great operation also from Gabriele Mini, the championship leader, who pocketed 8 important points even though he will not start in the top 10 this Sunday. The two men are accompanied by Noël Leon on the podium, the Mexican having surprised Tim Tramnitz on the last lap to steal his place on the box.
- On the French side, Marseillais Sami Meguetounif finished in the points, in 6th position, thanks in particular to a superb overtake on Luke Browning mid-race. When braking on Kemmel Straight, the Habs took the lead even if the Englishman forced him out of the limits of the track.
- Starting 27th after a poor qualifying session, the winningest driver of the season Arvid Lindblad made a spectacular comeback on the Ardennes slide. The Englishman had already recovered nine places at the end of the first lap, and was even on the 1th lap halfway through the race. The protégé of Red Bull completed his comeback close to the points, in 12th position, but sent a message for the main race on Sunday, which will include 3 more laps.
- The main race will take place from 8:30 a.m. this Sunday, with Callum Voisin starting from pole position.
