The 27 drivers took to the track on a wet surface for this final qualifying session of the season. Only eight of them had managed to complete a flying lap when the session was interrupted following Luciano Morano's (Palou Motorsport) incident. Frenchman Jules Caranta was thus forced to finish without a time recorded.
Due to the wet asphalt, lap times were significantly faster than those set the previous day during Qualifying 1, with the weather completely reshuffling the deck. Andrés Cárdenas (MP Motorsport) secured the final pole position of the 2025 season with a time of 1:49.341, well ahead of Jesse Carrasquedo's 1:35.520 set the day before. The Peruvian driver finished ahead of Emerson Fittipaldi Jr., son of the two-time world champion. F1Carrasquedo, who took pole position in the first session, will start third.
The leading drivers are lagging behind
Saturday's winner, Kacper Sztuka, had to settle for sixth place. provisional runner-upValerio Rinicella will start from fourth position. For Jules Caranta, promoted to the podium after penalties incurred following Race 1, this second qualifying session proved disappointing. He only managed the ninth fastest time, the same as the previous day. As for the rest of this final Eurocup-3 weekend, the last race of the season will start at 14:40 PM at the Barcelona-Catalunya circuit.
