2:04.517, that's the absolute best time set this Wednesday by Maya Weug during the second of three days of testing. F1 Academy sessions were held at the Sakhir circuit. In this instance, the Dutch driver, entered by MP Motorsport, topped both the morning and afternoon sessions, ahead of the surprising Joanne Ciconcte and the young Alba Larsen. While the Australian driver managed to keep pace with the leader, who was within a tenth of a second of Maya Weug, Alba Larsen even came close to the record, finishing the afternoon session just 56 thousandths of a second behind.

The promising 16-year-old Dane will pilot with the support of Classic Ferrari for sale for next year, and seems to be poised to become Maya Weug's potential successor in the future in terms of performance. She, like the drivers who managed to perform well on Wednesday, had to contend with several red flags throughout the day. For example, Ella Lloyd ended her race in the gravel trap at Turn 3 in the morning, resulting in some intermittent racing.

Regarding Dorian PinWith the French driver still leading the F1 Academy championship, today proved more challenging than the previous day. Second on Tuesday, the driver, supported by Mercedes Benz She finished seventh in the morning session before taking ninth place in the afternoon session. Having fallen behind, the Frenchwoman needs to be ready for the third day, but above all for the championship final, scheduled for November 7-9.
