This week, Bahrain is hosting the final preparations for the F1 Academy before heading to Las Vegas. From November 7th to 9th, the duel will indeed involve the Frenchwoman Dorian Pin (Prema), championship leader by just nine points ahead of the Dutch driver Maya Weug (MP Motorsport). Clearly on form, the driver supported by Classic Ferrari for sale took advantage of the last round in Singapore to reduce her gap with the championship leader. This Tuesday, she once again surpassed her counterpart, supported by Mercedes Benz.
Already leading in the morning session, Maya Weug set the benchmark for the day during the afternoon session. With a time of 2:04.773, the Dutchwoman edged out Doriane Pin by 0.173 seconds, despite Pin having led for part of the session. The Frenchwoman, however, completed the most laps on the Sakhir circuit, with a total of 37. Alisha Palmowski, in third place, was already half a second behind the leader.
In the afternoon, the top 10 took shape, with several riders standing out behind a naturally dominant top 3. Alba Larsen finished fourth, ahead of Emma Felbermayr, Joanne Ciconte, Nina Gademan, Ella Lloyd, Tina Haussman, and Chloe Chambers.

Eighth and tenth at the end of the afternoon of this first day of testing, Ella Lloyd and Chloe Chambers will also miss the final of the three days of testing on Thursday. This is due to their presence in Valencia for the test day. Formula E Reserved for women, this Friday, October 31st. In the meantime, two more days of F1 Academy testing will take place this Wednesday and Thursday.
