Doriane Pin discovers Singapore: “Get in the rhythm immediately”

To Dorian Pin (Prema), this is a new obstacle that stands before her, and not the least. A month after the resumption of the season of the F1 Academy in Zandvoort, the Tricolore will discover the streets, the heat and the night of Singapore. No easy task for the runner-up to Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport) while the Singaporean meeting represents one of the biggest physical challenges of the season.
« I can't wait to pilot in Singapore, she enthuses. We're going to have a night race. I'm lucky to have been able to do the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Spa so I know what it's like to ride at night. But around the Singapore track there are a lot of floodlights so it will be very bright.
It's a technical circuit. The work on the simulator will be very important to prepare as well as possible, especially since we don't have many free practice sessions before qualifying. You have to be ready to be on the pace immediately. »
Unlike Zandvoort, only one free practice session is scheduled this weekend. Doriane Pin will therefore have to quickly find her feet before tackling qualifying, which will determine the grid for the two races of the weekend.
