As part of a multi-year partnership announced this Thursday in Las Vegas on the sidelines of the Grand Prix of F1 This weekend, the F1 Academy and LEGO are paving the way for two new features. On the track, a new livery will appear from 2026, as LEGO Racing joins the various partnerships already in place with F1 teams. Alongside Classic Ferrari for sale, Mercedes Benz, or AlpineLEGO will put their faith in Esmee Kosterman. The 20-year-old Dutch driver, who had the opportunity to race at Zandvoort as a weekend wildcard entry, is preparing to start her first full season in the women's category.

The first woman to win a Ford Fiesta Sprint Cup race in 2023, she notably completed a full season in Saudi F4 and a year in Indian F4 this season. “Being the first driver for LEGO Racing is an incredible opportunity, and I’m excited to continue my competitive journey with the F1 Academy,” the newly promoted pilot rejoices. I've been a fan of the LEGO brand for a long time, of its creativity and the values it represents, and the idea of seeing it on the circuits from the 2026 season is simply extraordinary. I hope it will inspire future generations of female drivers and show them that with hard work and determination, anything is possible!
