For many young drivers featured on the set of the F1 Academy this season, the adventure ends shortly after the final round in Las Vegas. Indeed, the series rules clearly state that after two years of participation, no renewal is possible due to the springboard effect the championship aims to foster. In Lia Block's case, therefore, there are no surprises.

The daughter of American driver Ken Block, Lia is leaving the F1 Academy after fifteen races over two seasons. She is signed with ART Grand Prix and supported by the academy. WilliamsThe now 19-year-old finished eighth in 2024 before climbing to ninth place this year. Despite a lack of consistency, Lia Block has still managed two podium finishes, including a victory this season in Singapore in the sprint race.

@PtitPimousse: It's not like they didn't feature her prominently in the opening credits of F1 Academy (completely contrary to the rule in other series, where the drivers honored at the end of the credits are the best from the previous season).
