Rachel Robertson joins the F1 Academy with Puma

After a remarkable performance as a Wild Card in Las Vegas, Rachel Robertson will represent PUMA at the wheel of a single-seater operated by Hitech TGR for the 2026 F1 Academy season.

Rachel Robertson will race under the colors of the PUMA brand in F1 Academy in 2026. Behind the wheel of a car Operated by Hitech TGR, the 18-year-old Scot succeeds Aurelia Nobels, also sponsored by PUMA, who reached the two-year limit allowed in the FIA's exclusively female category.

In 2025, the young driver participated in the Rookie Test at the Navarra circuit in Spain. She distinguished herself by finishing in the top 5 in both practice sessions. Later invited as a wildcard entry to the 2025 F1 Academy season finale, Rachel Robertson secured a superb fourth place in the first race of the weekend.

Promising beginnings

Rachel Robertson started the karting in 2022, before joining the British Kart Championships the following year. In 2024, she established herself as the only female driver in the BKC's Senior Rotax Class, achieving several top-10 results. Robertson was then selected for a factory drive with Radical Motorsport for the 2025 Radical Cup UK season. She ultimately finished in the top three overall.

« I am incredibly excited to be joining the F1 ACADEMY with PUMA for 2026. It's been an incredible journey to get here. Just three years ago, I was finishing my novice karting career, having entered the sport by persuading my father to take me to an indoor rental kart track. she recalls. So much work has been done by my family and so many wonderful people. I am extremely grateful for everything. I love that PUMA is the fastest sports brand in the world and that it represents courage and authenticity. That's exactly what I want to be this year.

The fourth season of the category will also open in Shanghai (China) in mid-March, alongside the Formula 1 Grand Prix held the same weekend.
