While Alisha Palmowski had joyfully celebrated her fifth podium finish of the 2025 season F1 Academy driver Campos Racing was ultimately disqualified. During a post-race check following Race 1 in Las Vegas, her car was deemed non-compliant with the sporting and technical regulations. It was indeed found that the British driver's car's suspension assembly had an incorrect configuration of the Belleville spring stack. Brazilian driver Aurelia Nobels thus inherited third position in Race 1, securing her first podium finish in the F1 Academy.

Nicole Havrda loses tenth place
Nicole Havrda, who finished tenth at the checkered flag, received a ten-second stop-and-go penalty for failing to enter the pit lane after the formation lap. Suffering a mechanical issue before the start of the race, the Canadian driver remained in the pit lane, whereas the regulations required her to go to the grid, start the formation lap, and return to the pits at its end. Unable to serve her penalty during Race 1, it was converted into a 30-second penalty, dropping her to twelfth place.
Race 1 also saw the fourth victory of Dorian Pin This season, she's getting closer to a F1 Academy title, while Maya Weug, her main rival for the championship, was involved in a collision with Tina Hausmann even before the start of the race. The French driver now has 20 points ahead on the Dutch course. The final round of the season will take place tonight, starting at 1:15 am.
