Barcelona – Race 2: Chambers surprises Pulling, Pin in the Top 5
© Eric Alonso / DPPIChloe Chambers took her first victory of the season ahead of Abbi Pulling. Doriane Pin once again missed her start but returned to the Top 5.
- Big first this Sunday for Barcelona. If it was Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport) who positioned herself as the big favorite the day after her 4th victory and still in pole position, it was ultimately Chloe Chambers (Campos) who broke the screen at the start of the day in Catalonia.
- Second on the grid, the American took her British rival by surprise from the first meters. His better reaction to the lights going out allowed him to immediately take control.
- If Abbi Pulling tried to respond, Chloe Chambers showed great mastery pushing the Englishwoman beyond second before gradually widening the gap. On a very strong rhythm, the protégé of Haas took the checkerboard with more than 6 seconds ahead of the Briton while Hamda Al Qubaisi (MP Motorsport) completed the podium.
- On the side of Dorian Pin (Prema), the start was once again a headache. Still struggling with the exercise, the Tricolore missed out, losing three positions instantly. Falling to 6th, the Parisian then managed to get rid of Bianca Bustamente (ART Grand Prix) to move up to 5th. Returning to contact with the group formed by Abbi Pulling, Hamda Al Qubaisi and Nerea Marti (Campos), she unfortunately did not manage to find the opening to gain a few additional positions.

The next round of F1 Academy is scheduled for the Dutch Grand Prix (August 23-25).
