Victorious from her first start in F1 Academy, Doriane Pin is savoring a success brilliantly acquired in Jeddah, and is already focusing on the second race of the weekend.

She was expected, she was the favorite, she did not disappoint! Dorian Pin won Race 1 in Jeddah, on his first attempt in F1 Academy! The Frenchwoman, who started in pole position, did not tremble in the face of a pressing Abbi Pulling to achieve her first success of the season in the 100% women's championship.

Author of a solid start – which was one of her main weaknesses in F4 UAE this winter – the Parisian never gave up control of the race, setting a hellish pace in the lead. Only the point for the best lap escaped him, to the benefit of his British opponent.

" It's incredible ! Incredible start to the season! I am very happy with the preparation with the team, I think we are going in the right direction and we work very well together, confided Doriane Pin at the finish of the race. I am very proud of this first victory and now I am focusing on tomorrow [the race].

“Honestly, the basic goal was to get off to a good start and we did that, she adds. I took advantage of the first lap to gain an advantage, but with the Safety Car, the important thing was to make a good restart. I think we did it intelligently, and it was good. The pace is positive, and now we will work to find some little extras for [Saturday]. »

Now on to Race 2 (start Saturday, 13 p.m.) for Doriane Pin, a race in which she will start, once again, in pole position. The Mercedes-supported driver can achieve a full success this weekend, which would be a first in the young history of the F1 Academy.
