Netherlands – Race 2: Doriane Pin returns to success

• This is a great way to get back on track. A few hours after losing his second place in Race 1 for an early departure, Dorian Pin (Prema) did not miss his chance in Race 2.
• In pole position, the Tricolore made a perfect copy. This time, there was no early start, managing her reaction to the lights going out very well to keep her main driver Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport) behind her. The latter was even delicate, losing her second position to Maya Weug (Prema).
• Behind, Doriane Pin set her own pace that no one managed to keep up in the end. All lap after lap, she pushed back her rivals until crossing the finish line with almost two seconds on her pursuers, and with the added bonus of the point for the best lap in the race (1'36"912).
• To protect her from Mercedes, this is a second victory this year, the first since Race 1 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) last March. Third, synonymous with her worst result this year, Abbi Pulling remains at the top of the championship with 190 points. Doriane Pin is second with 119 units.
• The next round of F1 Academy is scheduled to take place in Singapore (September 20-22).
