At the end of a Race 1 controlled from start to finish, Doriane Pin won her first victory in F1 Academy.

  • The great series continues for Dorian Pin. After the two pole positions won the day before at the end of a Thursday dominated throughout, the Prema driver did not take her foot off this Friday during Race 1 in Saudi Arabia.
  • If the standing starts had cost it dearly recently, particularly in F4 UAE, the Tricolore did not flinch this time, quickly sheltering itself from a possible attack from Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport). Forced to restart the pack after the clash between Amna Al Qubaisi (MP Motorsport) and Reema Juffali (wildcard), the protégé of Mercedes Benz then imposed its own rhythm. By pushing Pulling back beyond a second for almost the entire race, Doriane Pin was able to ride freely and head solo towards the checkerboard. The return of her English opponent, author of the best lap in the race, in the final moments did not intimidate her, thus winning the first victory of the 2024 season of the F1 Academy. The flawless performance continues. Maya Weug (Prema) completed the podium.

  • Behind the leading trio, the race was very lively with a few battles and especially contacts. Lola Lovinfosse (Rodin Motorsport) was also the protagonist of one at the end of the race. While trying to gain the upper hand on Nerea Marti (Campos), the Tricolor collided with her rival, sending her to the mat. If she crossed the finish line in 5th position, the Frenchwoman risks a penalty after investigation.
