Saudi Arabia – Race 2: Two out of two for Doriane Pin who completes a perfect weekend

Starting from pole position, Doriane Pin held off Abbi Pulling to score her second victory of the weekend in Saudi Arabia.

• Obviously Dorian Pin (Prema) left its mark on this first meeting of the 2024 season of the F1 Academy on the Saudi Arabian side. Untouchable for 48 hours, the Habs did not let up this Saturday to complete a weekend of total domination.
• Starting in pole position for Race 2, the protégé of Mercedes Benz had to manage his efforts this time, experiencing a race with a little more pressure compared to the day before. If she hadn't had to work hard on Friday, Doriane Pin had to be extra vigilant in the face of Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport) who appeared in her mirrors.
• Faced with the attempts, the Frenchwoman did not tremble, however, applying herself perfectly to maintain her first place. Her English rival tried her luck twice at Safety Car restarts, but Doriane Pin always dampened her hopes. As a bonus, the Parisian stole the point for the best lap in the race during the last race with almost 4 tenths in advance. A very nice way to end this first meeting of the year, dominated from top to bottom. Maya Weug (Prema) once again completed the podium.
• However, the victory must still be confirmed since Doriane Pin did not see the checkered flag and completed a 14th lap, thus taking the checkered flag twice. On the radio, she appeared surprised because her team did not pass on the information to her. This will be investigated by the panel of commissioners after arrival.
