On the historic site of the former Tempelhof airport, the Formula E has reaffirmed its status as the premier discipline of strategic management. From the moment the lights went out, pole-sitter Edoardo Mortara got off to a perfect start, but the calm was short-lived. Driven by Oliver Rowland, the hierarchy quickly shifted, launching a relentless battle at the front. In this ultra-compact pack, typical of Berlin, the lead changed hands with every lap.

The turning point of the race came halfway through with the Pit Boosts and the use of Attack Mode. PorscheThe strategy was to play for time, with Nico Müller patiently preparing his attack. Pascal Wehrlein, meanwhile, suffered a puncture just before the mandatory pit stop and was definitively out of contention for points.

The final duel pitted Müller against Nick Cassidy. While Cassidy attempted to capitalize on a late Attack Mode, the Swiss rider possessed a decisive advantage: a 1% higher energy reserve than his rival. In a breathtaking finale, Müller displayed heroic resilience to secure his first career victory in his 69th race start, crossing the finish line 4,8 seconds ahead of his closest pursuer, Nick Cassidy. Oliver Rowland completed the top three.

This victory is all the more historic as it coincides with Porsche's 75th anniversary, celebrated on home soil. Thanks to this performance, Müller achieves a perfect result, climbing to 3rd place in the World Championship, while the overall picture is more mixed for his team. By taking the lead in the standings from Pascal Wehrlein, Edoardo Mortara deprives Porsche of the championship lead, thus spoiling part of the celebration on home soil.
