The 2025-2026 season of Formula E will begin on December 6th with the São Paulo E-Prix, the opening round of this 12th season of the world championship car electric.
Before heading to Brazil, the ten teams were in Valencia, Spain, at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, for preseason testing. This provided an opportunity to see the new liveries in action. The main novelty is the presence of a brand-new team: Citroën Racing Formula E Team. The double-chevron brand is making its single-seater debut, replacing another Stellantis Group brand, Maserati.
The car, entrusted to the expert hands of Nick Cassidy and Jean-Éric Vergne, will sport a livery in the colors of the French flag this season, with a red similar to that used by Mahindra. The Indian team, for its part, looked particularly strong during these tests, with Edoardo Mortara topping the timesheets.
