The Brazilian is expected to join the American team in the all-electric championship next season, after several stints in motorsport without any prospects.

Felipe Drugovich to join Andretti in Formula E next season

This decision surely comes after the announcement of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Pérez at Cadillac in F1 from 2026. Felipe Drugovich, who participated in the 24 Hours of Daytona and twice in the 24 Hours of Le Mans driving the Cadillac Hypercar, would not have been considered for an arrival in Formula 1 after his F2 title in 2022, but remains in contention to replace Jenson Button aboard the American Hypercar – with rumors echoing that Mick Schumacher would have refused this offer to go to McLaren in WEC.

The 25-year-old Brazilian would return to a starting seat after three seasons on the bench, although he has taken part in five rounds ofELMS with Vector Sport last year and seven free practice sessions with Aston Martin in F1, where he is still currently the reserve driver. This decision could be seen as a long-term solution, or a seat chosen "by default" to improve his position on the circuits rather than around them...
