Nerea Martí will participate in the women's test day on October 31 at the Ricardo-Tormo circuit, as part of the program of the Formula E aimed at strengthening the female presence in the discipline.

23-year-old Nerea Martí will return to the wheel of the car electric Porsche 99X Electric in Andretti colors, one year after her first participation in Madrid. A native of Valencia, the driver will this time benefit from an expanded program and full support from the American team, which intends to maximize her driving time and learning.

Winner and multiple podium winner in F1 Academy, Martí also distinguished herself in the W Series, where she finished as best rookie in 2021 before testing a single-seater Formula 3 FIA the same year. More recently, she finished fourth in the 2024 F1 Academy Championship with Campos Racing and joined the BMW M Racing Academy program.

« I am very grateful to Andretti Global for offering me this opportunity for the second consecutive year, Martí said. Driving at home in Valencia makes this moment even more special. After several months without driving a single-seater, I'm very motivated to make the most of this experience and continue to improve. These tests are essential for women to demonstrate our potential and our ability to compete in Formula E. »

Team principal Roger Griffiths also welcomes this return: " We are delighted to welcome Nerea back. She made a strong impression at the Jarama test and we are confident she will continue this momentum, especially at a circuit she knows so well. Andretti has a long tradition of supporting female drivers and this dedicated day is part of our commitment to diversity and equality in motorsport. »

Since season 11, Formula E has organized specific tests for women to promote their integration into the championship. In 2025, the program will expand with more driving, a further step in the series' desire to build a more inclusive and representative environment.

Pepe Marti's sister? If so, how long has it been since we had a brother and sister in motor racing? I don't know if Stirling Moss and Pat Moss had the opportunity to race together!!
