Norman Nato returns home. After a short one-season adventure with Andretti, the Cannes native returns to the Nissan team for Season 11, a year after leaving the Japanese team. He will be partnered with Oliver Rowland, who had an incredible campaign with the Japanese firm in 2024, fighting for the title until the last meeting in London. As a result of this signing, Sacha Fenestraz, who was unconvincing over the last two seasons in Formula E, lost his place. The Franco-Argentine suffered in particular from the comparison with his teammate during the last championship (26 points against 156 for Rowland).

During his short stint at Nissan in 2023 during Season 9, the Frenchman notably scored a podium at the Rome E-Prix and finished 10th in the championship. "I am very happy to be back in the team, rejoices Norman Nato. We finished Season 9 strong together and I intend to pick up where we left off. We will try to perform straight away, so the fact that I know the car and the team will help me.
Nato wants “win races and championships” with Nissan
“Oli proved his speed last season. We have been fighting on the track since Formula Renault 2.0, but we were never teammates! I'm sure we'll get along great and hopefully we can share some podiums together, confides the Southerner. It will be interesting to see how the car has improved, and the objective is clear. We want to win races and championships. Finally, I wish Sacha the best of luck, he is an excellent driver and it is never easy to replace someone you were previously associated with. I am sure we will meet again very soon on the circuits.
“We are excited to embark on Season 11, having delivered a very strong performance in the last campaign, says Tommaso Volpe, Nissan Team Principal. We have changed our driver line-up by welcoming Norman, who will bring a wealth of experience and performance. Norman knows the team well and has shown his talent during his time with us. His feedback and insight is invaluable and he has experience developing cars, so we are delighted to have him back. Oli has had a fantastic season 10 and we are confident he can continue at this level. We believe Norman and Oli will form a strong partnership, both are team players and will do their utmost to help us improve throughout the year ahead.”
