This time, the schedule of Season 11 of the Formula E is indeed official! The latter was validated by the World Motor Sport Council organized by the FIA in Paris on Thursday. Four months after the first version presented, the 2024/2025 calendar (final?) has been confirmed by the governing body… with a big notable change. Indeed, of the 17 rounds promised last June, there are only 16 left in the updated version.

One date has indeed disappeared: that of March 8, 2025, which was until then on hold and still awaiting confirmation. If Formula E has never communicated on the destination that was planned for this date, it should have been Thailand with an E-Prix that was hoped for in the city of Chiang Mai. The political instability of the country, with the Recent dismissal of former Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, was right about the organization of an E-Prix and the arrival of Formula E.

Result: as in the last campaign, Season 11 will feature 16 rounds across 10 locations… and with a big unplanned two-month break between the double-header in Jeddah (February 14-15) and the Miami E-Prix (April 12). “We are delighted to present a 16-race Formula E calendar for Season 11 – the same number that has driven record growth in fan audiences and broadcasts globally (during Season 10, Editor's note), announces the electric championship through a press release. Across 10 events, we will race at several long-standing favourite venues, with moves to double-headers in some locations and some fantastic new venues in key markets.”

Formula E has however specified that the long break between February and April could be filled by various events in order to keep fans and spectators on the edge of their seats while waiting for the return of the championship. “Work is already underway to build and maintain engagement with fans throughout the season, with further details to be announced in the coming months.”, the statement briefly states.
