With the arrival of Citroën in Formula E, almost everything is a first. This commitment to the world championship of car electric is thus the first foray into the world of single-seater racing for the brand with the chevrons, while Nick Cassidy and Jean-Éric Vergne are its first representatives in this championship.

In this context, Tatiana Calderón was the first woman to get behind the wheel of a single-seater bearing the Citroën logo this Friday during the test day reserved for female drivers, organized at the close of the pre-season tests in Valencia (Spain).

« It's fantastic to be back in Valencia, representing Citroën Racing at the official Formula E women's test. Calderón confided after that day. I've always loved driving at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, and working with this team already makes me feel right at home. As a driver, it's a real honor to be the first woman to drive a Citroën single-seater, and I'm delighted that our test day was such a success. Opportunities like this, where I can demonstrate my abilities behind the wheel of such a sophisticated race car at such a crucial point in the season preparation, are invaluable. I'm extremely grateful to the team for their trust and support. »

Tatiana Calderón finished the day in seventh place in the overall standings, 1,071 seconds of Chloe Chambers (Mahindra).
