Within the narrow confines of Monaco, mistakes are forbidden and collisions are commonplace. This was certainly the case during the second race of the weekend in the Principality. Right from the start, Antonio Félix da Costa was sent into a spin by Edoardo Mortara. The Swiss driver led the race for a long time and then battled for a podium finish, crossing the finish line in provisional second place before dropping back following a 10-second penalty received at the start.

This allowed Felipe Drugovich (Andretti) to move up to the podium in second place, while Antonio Félix da Costa, second on the grid, managed to climb back up the field after his initial collision with Edoardo Mortara to reach the third step of the podium.

Jean-Éric Vergne, fourth when the lights went out, could have hoped to finish on the podium in the streets of Monaco, but the Frenchman was involved in a collision with the Porsche Nico Müller suffered a setback, breaking his front wing and plummeting down the standings. Norman Nato also had a run of bad luck. Stuck at the back of the field, the Nissan driver was forced into the wall at the exit of Anthony-Noghès and was forced to retire.

Several other incidents marred the race, notably involving 2023-2024 champion Pascal Wehrlein, Pepe Marti (Cupra Kiro), and Nick Cassidy (Citroën) at Rascasse, and Taylor Barnard, who crashed into the wall at Portier while attempting an overtake three laps from the end. Amid the chaos, Oliver Rowland managed to stick to the winning strategy to secure his eighth victory in the all-electric category. Pole-sitter Dan Ticktum once again had a disappointing race, incurring penalties and ultimately finishing in 14th position. The winner of the Monaco E-Prix 1, Nyck de VriesHe secured 9th position to score points despite starting from the penultimate row.
