Champion in Season 6, when he drove for DS Techeetah, António Félix da Costa spent the last few seasons at Porsche, where he teamed up with Pascal Wehrlein, world champion in Season 10. Expected to join Alpine in the World ChampionshipEndurance, the Portuguese driver therefore officially leaves the German brand and joins Jaguar to compete in the next season of Formula E, alongside New Zealander Mitch Evans.
“Joining Jaguar TCS Racing, a team with a long history in motorsport, is a huge honour.”, says da Costa. “I have always admired the team’s resilience and pursuit of performance and innovation, and I am looking forward to getting behind the wheel of the impressive Jaguar I-TYPE 7. It is a privilege to team up with Mitch, one of the most experienced drivers in Formula E and a close friend. I am looking forward to starting this new chapter, learning, pushing boundaries and helping to take the team forward for Season 12 and beyond.”
12-time Formula E winner, including five times at the wheel of a car third generation, António Félix da Costa replaces Nick Cassidy, who will join the Citroën team next season, alongside Jean-Éric Vergne.
“We are delighted to welcome da Costa to Jaguar TCS Racing. His performances over the past 11 years in this championship have been impressive, and his approach to racing fits perfectly with our team’s values.”, says Ian James, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal.

For Felix... It's a positive signing... Even if I repeat myself this Formula E championship, has no interest... ‼️ And I'm sure that Porsche will withdraw from this championship, if he doesn't win this championship in the next two seasons. 😎👀‼️👀🤨
