The Swiss driver, who is also competing in his final season at the wheel of the Peugeot 9X8 in the world championshipEndurance, will team up with Season 9 World Champion Jake Dennis. Müller also joins the customer driver pool Porsche, since the Andretti team has powertrains from the German brand in Formula E since 2023.
« JI am very excited to join Andretti in Formula E. It is a team that has enjoyed success, particularly during the GEN3 era, notably thanks to its partnership with Porsche Motorsport. Working with Jake, a former world champion, is an honor, and I look forward to the opportunity. I will give my best to contribute to the team's success and I hope to aim for a few podiums and my first victory in Formula E – that's the goal. I can’t wait to get started”, explained the Swiss.
Nico Müller will take part in a first test session with the team this August, during a session organized by Porsche. According to some rumors, this would not be the first time that Müller could discover the German brand's electric powertrain. However, he will discover the GEN3 Evo, which will be the new car used in Formula E from Season 11 and which is, as its name indicates, an evolution of the car used over the last two seasons, and which symbolizes the third generation of 100% electric single-seaters.
