In at least two respects, Enzo Deligny (R-ace GP) managed to take his revenge at the end of the FRECA season. First, by winning this second race of the weekend at the Barcelona circuit, the Franco-Chinese driver atoned for the affront linked to his retirement in Race 1 experienced this Saturday. Having crashed while starting once again from the top four positions, the driver, now with three victories this FRECA season, was able to bounce back, converting his pole position into a victory.
On the other hand, the driver managed to get the better of Pedro Clerot, who was clearly turning into a rival. Having won in Austria while Deligny had managed to get ahead on the first lap, the Brazilian, who was driving for VAR, finished less than four tenths off first place. Despite the pressure he exerted since the start of the race, he was unable to get the better of a leader who had not made any mistakes, even during the only restart behind the safety car.

Slater impresses, Giltaire delivers
Another match within the match to watch this afternoon, the one between Freddie Slater (Prema) and Matteo De Palo (Trident) saw yet another winner emerge. Author of a brilliant overtaking of De Palo and Belov, the British driver whose participation in F3 has already been confirmed alongside Trident for 2026, demonstrated all his qualities in one maneuver. Able to maintain more speed from the outside of the corner, Freddie Slater even managed to get the better of Evan Giltaire (ART GP) at the end of the race, but a gross error in the final corner ultimately cost him a hard-earned fourth place. Tied on points, Slater and De Palo still see the Italian in second place due to a lower number of victories at this stage of the season.

Finally, Evan Giltaire emerged as another big winner at the end of this race. Overtaken by an overly greedy Slater, the Frenchman took fourth place and allowed himself a bit of breathing room in the midst of a season that was more difficult than expected. Inclined to achieve a strong end to the season, the rider who had been dominant at the first round of the year at Misano is now looking to Hockenheim as the next event to come, from October 3 to 5. Enzo Deligny will try to repeat this performance, his first Grand Slam of the season.
