There will be at least one Frenchman on the FREC grid (new name of FRECA) for the 2026 season. Van Amersfoort Racing announced on Tuesday, February 3rd, the arrival of Andrea DupeThe 17-year-old Parisian made his Italian F4 debut in 2025, initially with PHM Racing and then with Prema Racing for the second half of the season. He has also competed in the Formula Winter Series, the E4 Championship, and currently participates in the Formula Regional Middle East Trophy. In 2024, he was selected to participate in the Richard Mille Young Talent Academy, where he set the fastest time in the pre-selection tests and finished fourth in the final at Jerez, Spain.

The 2026 FREC season will begin from April 24 to 26 in Spielberg, Austria.
